This is the first in a series of improvements to the processes that Facilities Planning & Management (FP&M) Physical Plant–Campus Renovation Services (formerly PAC and A&E) uses to schedule and deliver renovation projects during periods of peak construction.
This change represents the initial phase of a wide spectrum of improvements driven by an Administrative Process Redesign (APR) project that brought together stakeholders from across campus to identify methods for improving the ways campus renovation services are delivered.
Effective immediately, the deadline for the submission of project requests for Summer 2017 renovation projects is January 1, 2017.
Implementing deadlines for project requests will allow Campus Renovation Services to:
- Improve communication with our customers;
- Complete projects in shorter construction periods;
- Track changes to the project scope throughout the project’s lifecycle; and,
- Monitor and report project expenditures on a regular basis.
After requests are submitted, Campus Renovation Services will schedule projects using a defined priority ranking.

This page now includes the materials that you need to navigate this process, including a process diagram, project request form, signatory letter, prioritization criteria, and answers to frequently asked questions. We will continue to add more information to this page as we continue to improve our project management and delivery processes.
